Next, we visit Azrou, a tranquil oasis surrounded by majestic cedar forests, where Barbary Apes play amidst nature’s tranquility. Our route then leads us to Midelt, the apple capital, for a delightful lunch amidst geological wonders. Energized, we head to Merzouga, where the landscape transforms into the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi Dunes, promising a magical desert experience.
In Merzouga, we relax at a traditional Kasbah with mint tea before embarking on a camel ride through the sandy dunes, culminating in a breathtaking Sahara sunset. The adventure continues as we reach our desert camp, where cozy Berber tents await under the starry sky. Day two starts after sunrise, with a refreshing shower preparing us for the journey back to Fes from Merzouga. We say our goodbyes to Merzouga and set out through the impressive Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, quick stops add a touch of excitement to our adventure.
